John has been the Principal at McIntyre Irwin since the firm was founded in 1995, having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1992. He has over 30 years of experience dealing with owner managed business and fully understands their needs. He has also extensive experience dealing the HM Revenue & Customs enquiries etc.

 

Barbara Edwards

Barbara has worked with the firm since 2000. During that time she has completed her Association of Accounting Technicians exams and is now well on her way to completing her ACCA exams. At this stage, Barbara has a lot of experience dealing with the needs of clients, in particular with regards to VAT, PAYE and CIS matters.

Bernie joined McIntyre Irwin in 2000 and has worked as John McIntyre’s Personal Assistant ever since. She is the first point of contact for most clients and over the years has built up a great rapport with everyone that makes contact with the firm.
